Melee
overtaking Undertale was the worst thing that could've happened to it.
There's only one shot left, and that's to wait till the final hours to
use that 2.2 million twitter follower trump card, if it exists. I think Undertale has put up too awesome of a performance to lose right now. Going against Melee with the firm support of nearly all of the competitive community and still coming out on top is amazing. How many titles can you say are capable of that, especially one that's barely three months old? Undertale would even put up a good fight against LoL at the rate we're going. I still think that match should be a thing, even if some strings have to be pulled over on Reddit between the two subreddits. |

Undertale
is drawing more votes right now than it drew at its peak in the Pokemon
match and has done it for longer. This is on top of picking up a ton of

isn't doing anything new here. Melee dropping off is a big part of

don't think some of you guys realize that it's in the nature of
Undertale to have an absurd vote ceiling. It was a $10 game on Steam,
meaning that naturally, the entirety of its audience is on the Internet.
Add that to the fact that the game has sparked a very well-connected
fandom, and is still very recent, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if,

Here's a post from a different forum: What's worrying me is that as strong as Melee is, I don't think it's OOT strong. Unless the overlap between the rabid OOT fans and Undertale haters is even bigger than I thought, I'm not sure either game can beat OOT unless the losing side helps the winning side in the final round, or OOT miraculously loses before then. So yeah, people outside of Board 8 are always going to consider Undertale an Underdog. Just how it works. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

From what it looks like, the Melee rally is the only thing keeping it from getting crushed like 65-35.
