We have now entered the second half of this match, and Melee seems poised to take the lead in a few updates. With the Undertale fans waking up to possibly see their game losing, the real war begins soon as we head towards the horizon to 100k votals. |
Today is the day we either learn Undertale's vote ceiling or debunk that silly notion at all. |

I think it will lose cause it will take the lead too soon and waste too much rallies doing it. They should have waited some more hours of stallfest, to have Melee lower the lead to 800 or so and do it then. |

games are gonna quickly go past any vote total they had before. I think
at some point you're gonna have to exhaust the other game's entire
rallying power, risking of course that your own game's rallies peter out

If Melee wins this, it should win by pretty much every objective criteria we have but it's Ocarina of Time. If any game could find a way to win that, it's OoT. I mean, I definitely think Melee/OoT is more "interesting" because I think it's arguable OoT can win it even if the argument for it is basically "The LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!" is not the worst champion to come out of this. If UT loses here, which
it looks like is gonna happen, it's had a great run, and Melee deserves

Almost every Melee spike has evidence as to why it exists. Undertale just gets random spikes whenever its threatened. |

100k votal barrier shattered into tiny pieces with that last update. With the way things are going Melee will activate Undertale's danger point and we could see it come back dramatically. Not a good sign for Melee. |
