though the Worlds weren't sure how the Worlds would affect Draven in
the final a couple of years back. That turned out to be pretty
conclusive. But with that said it only became conclusive once they stickied the rally, and this tournament won't have the viewership of the LoL World Championships, so it's not exactly the same thing. --- Such a lust for revenge |
ah..i just checked their stream schedule Melee is on saturday. could still help since it's so close and the community might be a little more active as a result of a tournament having just happened. i'd think part of the melee community also plays other fighting games and keeps up with them |
Yeah
if stuff is actually going on there's the competing force of people
posting stuff actually talking about the tournament which can knock the

actual in-game salute screen would have been better, especially if it
captured the teardrop, but this isn't far off from that. I'm pissed as
hell at Big Boss and I've been voting for SMRPG non-stop, yet the first

Ocarina's
pictures are just great. Minus that one awkward one from the official
art, weird choice. This one captures OOT perfectly. I'm convinced Mario RPG is untouchable when it comes to pictures. It just dominates every match. --- satoru iwata |

Yeah,
MGS3 has a great pic, too. It's just the mixture of colors and sprites
that make Mario RPG stand out so much. Feel like it's a big nostalgia
rush that makes you wanna vote for it. I'd be surprised if MGS3 wins
here, if only because Mario RPG has ripped through similar competition

Most of those Tumblrers weren't even born when Mario World came out! They grew up on 3-D Mario! That being said, I'd still expect them to default to "Mario anything" over MGS3, even if MGS3 is a game that came out within their lifetime.
