Melee's
being obviously helped out by the Undertale influx. Its own rallies are
having more of an effect, but it's still not going to make one whit of
difference. Undertale drove Pokemon to 62% on Mario 3 and 78% on Sonic 2

Usually Undertale is always behind and have to catch back up. This time, it's ahead and not seriously threatened, so I guess the ralliers care a lot less. |

So when they fade off Undertale fades though the undertale you see today isn't the same as the one a fw weeks ago. thousands of fans know about this contest now and vote for it and it has normal trends and spikes when threes visible rallies going on. Thats why it's just naturally stronger and more consistnt but still weaker than the elite games without the major rallies. --- FFVII Remake >>>> Original. Deal With it. |

FF games are just different and have their own unique fanbases. Having had experience with multiple FF fan sites over the net in the past 10 years FFVII is always the most popular FF game. Fantasy VII is far from being the most divisive Final Fantasy. I'm
pretty sure even VIII and X are more divisive, heck even the every
pre-VI Final Fantasy and everything after X is more divisive than all of

Most divisive was a hyperbole, but saying it's one of the least divisive is also wrong. You can't have a single discussion about the game without the "overrated" brigade popping up, and sizable ones at that. This has been true in every gaming related website I've ever been to. |

Meh,
the general selling appeal behind Undertale in this contest is that
"It's a game that's not FF7 or Ocarina" so those voters aren't going to
vote for FF7. >_> SM64 holding Undertale under 51% despite having lost the lead all day is pretty great though. A shame it has to lose. D: |
