Deus Ex projected FFIV to be around Kingdom Hearts. That's not too far from FFIX! Though if you think FO3's quarter is overrated, that's a bit inflated. think people are underestimating the amount spillover is impacting this
match. The trends are incredible here; LTTP literally did 10% better
in the morning than the Power Hour. I challenge anyone to find another
match with such a big gap between the power hour and 8-9 am, since the
site switched to starting at midnight Eastern, excluding rallies
(Draven, Undertale, that one match where Bidoof held even with Vincent
for an hour). The extreme swing of the trends, and their close correlation with spillover votes, suggest LTTP at 60% or higher without spillover. --- September 1, 2003; November 4, 2007; September 2, 2013 NEVER FORGET. |

I just realized SMRPG did almost exactly as well on Oblivion as RE4 did
on MGS2 and almost exactly as well on CC as RE4 would be projected to

ROUND 4 – DAY 4 – ALL OF DIVISION 7 & 8 Match CXIX: (9) Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars vs. (2) Resident Evil 4 Previous Rounds Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars 54.43% against The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 57.20% against Grand Theft Auto V 60.74% against Chrono Cross Resident Evil 4 58.87% against Paper Mario 58.11% against Fallout: New Vegas 54.44% against Metal Gear Solid 2 Analysis Some people who are excited about the upset are placing this on Resident Evil 4’s weakness, but I think you should be looking at this as Super Mario RPG’s strength. Resident Evil 4 has looked like its old self based on its performances against Paper Mario and Metal Gear Solid 2. Super Mario RPG breaking 60% last round was amazing and it essentially confirmed that Oblivion did not drop since 2010 and remained constant. In fact the 2010 x-stats eerily predicted that match almost to the exact tenth of a percent. This match comes down to whether or not you believe Resident Evil 4 has completely remained its old self. Super Mario RPG’s predicted number is just under what Resident Evil 4 got in 2010 so it doesn’t have much room to work with. Paper Mario seems to predict Resident Evil 4 has remained at that level while it is hard to use Metal Gear Solid 2 as an exact prediction until oddly enough the next match begins. We also have to take into account the added vote pool and their preference. Would they prefer SMRPG because it has Mario in the title? Resident Evil 4 is a well-known classic in its own right too. charmander6000’s Bracket: Resident Evil 4 > Super Mario RPG charmander6000’s Prediction: Resident Evil 4 wins, 52.06% - 47.94% Match CXX: (1) Metal Gear Solid vs. (3) Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Previous Rounds Metal Gear Solid 79.07% against Splatoon 60.34% against Earthbound 53.56% against Shadow of the Colossus Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 69.50% against Mother 3 52.03% against BioShock 60.64% against Mass Effect 2 Analysis My pre-contest expectation for this match was that Metal Gear Solid would win in a close, but unopposed manner, but now I think Metal Gear Solid 3 has a real chance. MGS3’s win over Mass Effect 2 wasn’t a surprise, but its percent was a bit shocking. However, the main reason of why I think the match will be close was Metal Gear Solid’s performance against Shadow of the Colossus. A bandwagon Shadow of the Colossus went about even with Metal Gear Solid 3 back in 2010, but by making Shadow of the Colossus equal to Metal Gear Solid 2 and keeping the previous results ratio between Resident Evil 4 and Metal Gear Solid 3 we see that MGS3 ends up with a higher percent than what Metal Gear Solid got. The main reason I am sticking with Metal Gear Solid is because I feel that the fanbase within will choose the first game over the third. realizing my all-time favorite game (and another pretty great game in
RE4, though it's not as good as SMRPG) is also what I need to keep my
bracket alive another day. I don't think I could handle the heartbreak

Handle
the heartbreak? The only thing that got me through the next day was
watching Undertale make its comeback. I was really despondent about 35
minutes into the ASV when that rally looked like it wasn't
