I've
been trying to catch up on the trends and stats topics posts. So far,
it really does seem like Pokemon has thrown a LOT of bells and whistles
into its performance over the course of the match, including a Masuda
co-sign, while Undertale is still fueled by the same core followers from
Tumblr. And it's still enough for Undertale to win. IT'S OVER, IT'S OVER! TKO! Undertale > OoT --- Now crack that combination: 27 99 23. |

being the Pokemon fanbase hating their own original games, which is so

I can see it. Mechanically, the first games are complete unbalanced dogs*** with the code held together by duct tape and miracles. People hardcore into the series and the battling mechanics and all that would obviously be a bit resentful that, despite later games refining the formula significantly and maintaining a lot more balance and fostering much more of a competitive community, that a sizable portion of people still prefer the old, buggy, broken originals because they played them first as kids. --- Not_Wylvane |

So, let's say Melee gets past FFVII and meets Undertale. And the Smash community sees Melee losing this particular match. Are you guys legitimately prepared for the deluge of salt and fanboy rage? I admit I was skeptical at first but lmao holy s*** this train really has no brakes. OOT doesn't even have a shot if Undertale just keeps going Super Saiyan 1, 2, 3, 4 and god right at the second half of the match. I know Link was beastly versus Draven but he was the underdog there, constantly behind. When the day starts and you guys put up OOT rallies, Undertale will be way behind as usual, so Zelda fans won't rally nearly as hard as they would if OOT was in a Draven situation. When Undertale comes trucking at the end of the match it's already going to be too late. |

We're mainly just sick of Gen 1 getting praised for every little thing, while Gens 3-5 are crucified for every little thing. Gen 2 is somewhere in the middle, but unfortunately many genwunners have even not played that, so even GSC isn't nearly as strong. It's
not as easy as accessing a large pool of fans. Undertale has been
building this since round 1. It wasn't nearly as strong when it faced

If
you preface Zelda voters with the history of Undertale upsetting Mario,
Pokemon, Melee and FF7 they will vote. There are tons of active groups
with like 1000s of active users on facebook. Probably some fan pages
too. If Undertale gets to the final we need to contact everyone who runs
these pages and the admins and get them to post/sticky links on social
