Common Stats Topic Lingo Defined*~ SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense. Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. Undertale is going to smash my favorite game of all time into the dirt next match but I'll just have to deal with it. It's the best way to handle these things. (still pulling for SM64 though! ShatteredElysium Especially weird when we saw accounts yesterday which you would think would bring in a lot of votes from twitter but they just got a brief, albeit huge, spike before seemingly returning to normal We'll have to keep an eye on undertale_bot next match. If UT hulks up again at the same time it posts, it'll be too much to be coincidence. Undertale
is far more powerful than I thought. Pokemon has been getting better
updates and it's still failing to make much impact. And the steam Undertale will gain from winning this... whoo boy. |

thing I like about these rallies opposed to Draven is that the Draven
matches were pretty much over the minute they began. But Undertale lets
the other game think it will win the majority of the day and then

Not the rallying, I mean the pissing people off and getting glib. If so, I just wanna say sorry. find it so weird how consistent and devastating the rally is for this
game. It just goes and goes without a break. At the end of the day its a
game with a 400k playrate yet it matches the sort of rally Draven was
putting out with 30 million players. |
