HBO's admin even made it clear it wouldn't take much to turn the tide: I'm just saying I could easily see 1-200 legitimate votes with one bored chucklehead who wanted to make as big a blowout as possible using easy methods just as easily as I could see 600 legitimate votes. Starcraft/Halo had 112k votes, which was a good bit higher than FFVII/CT in the final and FFVII/OoT. Of course, the FFVII/OoT bonus poll after the 2009 4-way contest broke 155k votes. This match could possibly break Starcraft/Halo in vote totals. think the previous half hour was the first half hour timeframe where
Pokemon lost more votes to Undertale than Undertale gained on SMW. It's
now under 9559 ahead of SMW in terms of vote difference. --- No amount of rallying would let me beat raytan7585. Congrats to raytan7585 for winning the CB9 Guru Contest! |

Mario 64 isn't beating Undertale, obviously, but Undertale tends to let up once it gets around 55%, so I would expect the rally to die down around a 55-45 split once the outcome of the match is no longer in doubt. |

I think the best explanation for this is that Pokemon's backfire, while
a lot higher than SMW and Fallout, is still languishing around 25% and
it was successful Pokemon rallies earlier on that made the backfire rate

as for FFVII i think this is its best chance https://www.youtube.com/user/Miles923/videos Max is like the biggest FFVII fanboy ever, and he's also usually very receptive to viewers. he's a big youtuber but not on the level where he has millions of subscribers and would prolly just ignore most people who contact him if any of you are serious about FFVII, try contacting Max well in advance, tell him about the tournament, when the rleevant matches will be and so on, explain the situation with melee and undertale too. he probably wouldn't be opposed to making a short video in support of FFVII on the days of its matches, or at the very least do some tweets, but it has to be planned beforehand. trying to organize a rally out of nowhere in the day of the matches just doesn't work. |
With Undertale having a match same time as Melee/FFVII, Melee wont even need its own rallies. --- My old signature was really outdated. I haven't thought of a proper new one yet. |

Undertale's votals are actually pretty close to Draven's right now, and we still have two more rounds of snowballing to go. I wouldn't be surprised if Undertale is breaking 60k votes by the final. (I think Draven got about 54k votes in his divisional final against Link.) OoT will need to rally way more votes than Link did back in 2013. |
