Thing is that it isn't predictably true. It's a wild guess. We will always struggle to predict rallies. I don't care about Undertale's votals those are a fraud. What is happening to Pokemon's votals right now is the scary part. They're just totally drying up. Feeling hope rising time after time with each slight Chrono cut only for Melee to undo it all in an instant was heartbreaking. Yeah people are worrying too fast. Undertale is still not above the quota , and it doesn't seem to be increasing. It could cut 30 votes every updates for the rest of the match and not win. |

I think a big reason I tolerate the Undertale rally is because ME3, FO3, and SMW were not going to make a championship run, so it didn't alter results too badly. Chrono Trigger, on the other hand, had the makings of a champion, and Melee just took that away from it. Advokaiser posted... People: Even if Undertale wins, Melee beating CT was my biggest rooting interest this contest. I've had my moment with FFT, and I know it's not that strong. I got to watch FF7 win a contest. I've never really had that moment with Melee, especially since Brawl came out. Starcraft cheating in 2004 cheapened Melee's run, even though it won the match. Pokemon's vote intake is supposed to decline, because it's getting a
much larger share of its votes from natural Gamefaqs vote intake, which
has already passed its daytime peak and declines for the rest of the

Starcraft cheating in 2004 cheapened Melee's run, even though it won the match. Melee winning that match was "my moment" for Melee. I could not be more proud. Oh yeah, people were asking if a major rally had ever lost. Starcraft rallied hard against Melee, and lost. Melee was 3800 up and ended 500 up - even if you remove the 1300 stuffed votes, that's still a comeback of 2000 votes- about the same as it got against Wind Waker. --- September 1, 2003; November 4, 2007; September 2, 2013 NEVER FORGET. |

Yes that's what kills the games. In Mario World the evening time was actually getting less votes overall but Undertale was maintaining the same intake while Mario World died because it was running out of GameFAQs visitors. That's why it's the worst from 4 PM onward since the GameFAQs votes have dried up by then --- A refusal of praise is a desire to be praised twice. |

All this after the board left it for dead and had it losing to FFX.It was this contest's genuine underdog story.
