Alright, the ME3 rally started properly at around 5 and peak lead was at 16:40 - 9252 Pokémon is still in such hot water. If Undertale picks up steam anytime in the next 4 or 5 hours things will be very uncomfortable Now granted it's not the same because the votals are higher and ME3 ain't no Pokémon, but I believe the rally can adjust accordingly. --- Such a lust for revenge |

Does anyone have any examples of strong rallies that actually end up losing in this contest? Don't want to be pessimistic but I don't remember a rally ever losing --- Currently Playing-Rocket League, Demon's Souls SSBM Peach Main (Working on a Fox :D) |

There are about 200 viewers on twitch plays pokemon right now for what it's worth There's also a twitch stream of SM64 with about 1200 viewers: http://www.twitch.tv/gamej06 They would probably vote more for pokemon than undertale. |

There's also Starcraft in 2004 but that was likely more cheating than rallying Apart from that you do have a point. The "antagonist" in these massive rallies has never lost. But they haven't always been this much of a thing, so there's that. --- Such a lust for revenge |

I posted the link to the contest on MSPA Forums, and asked them to help
rally Undertale. It didn't seem to catch any attention on round 1, but
maybe people will care now that I've told them the epic tale of how
Undertale beat SMW and got to the final 16. I don't have an active Tumblr, but a lot of people there do, so maybe it could help. (edited 12/8/2015 8:36:16 AM)report |

I think Pokemon has it. Even on the Undertale subreddit people seemed split 50/50 on Pokemon vs Undertale and they are presumably bigger fans than the Tumblr people who aren't even aware of the match until the rallies. Of course the salt seekers will vote Undertale anyways, but I think It won't be able to get much more than a 60/40 of the Tumblr vote and Pokemon should be strong enough to fight that. It
was pretty epic when Link was running out of time and when we all
thought it was over SBAllen did the right thing and extended the match
in order to compensate for the power outage, giving Link just enough
time to make it back at the very last update. People cheered, and then
Link proceeded to beat Snake with 53% at grand finals. Good times! |
