Ulti, why this pic isn't good from a Pokιmon fan's perspective: - Sprites aren't the iconic ones from RBY. RBY's strength is 100% nostalgia. - Map is super blurry despite being the only thing from RBY in that picture. - The sprites are horribly resized and/or awful quality. I don't even know how you manage to butcher them up this badly. - The entire pic just looks like a generic Pokιmon pic instead of a pic from RBY. The picture thing was a joke (Undertale fans will vote Undertale regardless of what it's up against), but the pic is not good. --- .-#Elements of Water#-. |

The
thing about Tumblr is that it's not selective in its rallying. You
reblog. Your reblog is gonna reach all your followers, and not all your
followers are necessarily Undertale fans. Since there's many Pokιmon
fans in Tumblr, the backfire rate is higher -- not because Undertale
fans decide to vote RBY (a negligible % probably does this), but because

it came to light that my thoughts on Melee being a steaming pile of
s*** may be a result of the fact that I main Kirby. It just always felt
like none of my attacks hit for anything in Melee compared to Smash

I love how in just about every rally topic on reddit you get two sorts of difficult people that show up: 1) People that don't understand the purpose of this contest and/or overanalyze the purpose of it, saying things like, "I haven't played both games, so I don't think I can vote", "These two games are from totally different genres. How can they compare? I refuse to vote", "This game isn't the BEST game ever though", "I feel morally compelled not to vote out of fairness", etc. 2) People who, despite frequenting the subreddit of that particular game on a somewhat regular basis, don't apparently feel any loyalty to the game or think highly of it, and would be more interested in voting for mostly any other game besides that one. --- Don't mind me. Tumblr voters didn't care about Mario relative to things like Pokemon
and Animal Crossing, but Skyrim is like... the exact opposite. It's

Pokemon
has yet to start gaining percentage back. Undertale is at its strongest
during the daytime. It's already putting in far more votes than it was
against SMW. Pokemon desperately needs to whittle Undertale down so that
it can start cutting at least some votes and hold it well enough so it
can tank the daytime rallies if it wants to win. This might be over in another 12 hours or so. |
