It's hypocritical to support a CT rally but at the same time complain to site admins that rallies shouldn't be allowed. Anything in between is simply human desire to see certain games win. I can b**** about Undertale's rally all I want (which I didn't, mind you) but it's not hypocrisy to do so and support a CT rally. Not unless I'm actually trying to get one rally outlawed compared to the other one. Since the modus operandi of the Tumblr folks so far has been to post a picture of the match with Undertale losing massively to inspire people, all the Pokémon fans in Tumblr who don't give a single s*** about Undertale but follow those bloggers could be inclined to counter-vote Pokémon as they will see it in the picture. --- .-#Elements of Water#-. |

Melee
strength + rally power is strong enough to bury the early waves of
Undertale voting, and not give up insane 200+ vote cuts like UT's
opponents. It will be a good litmus test for what OoT will be up against
in the final |

Smash U would never beat Melee directly. Not in a million years. The two key reasons why: 1) As this contest has proven, Melee has far more rally potential, and Melee purists would absolutely rally for it against Smash U. 2) Smash U literally, not figuratively, couldn't break 55% on Mass Effect 1. This was an awful performance that actually looks even worse after Snake Eater mauled the franchise's flagship title. FFVII could be hitting 70% today, and I still wouldn't have faith in Smash U after that turd of a performance. --- Now crack that combination: 27 99 23. |

If you don't think Pokémon has rally potential, then I don't know why you'd even bring up the fact Pokéfans will be rallying their asses off tbh. It seems you're then implying that natural Pokémon is stronger than rallied Melee, which... who knows? Probably not, as CT was well on its way to defeating RBY handily if they ever faced. Melee has several things going for it in a hypothetical rally-off against Undertale. Mainly, its GameFAQs base strength is way higher and whereas rallied Melee votes will go pretty much 100% to Melee, Undertale votes will likely be split a little more (say 75%?). It's for sure a more interesting match than Undertale stomping on Chrono Trigger or FFVII, is what I'm saying. --- .-#Elements of Water#-. |
