If
this was happening to most other games I'd be OK with Melee winning
here- I picked it in my bracket after all. But seeing the momentum of a

CT would have ended up doing almost as good on Melee as FF7 did on Smash 4 I'm like 80% positive CT wins the entire contest if it's allowed to. FF7 would be a roadbump on the way to OoT --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Do you think there's no difference between rallying and counterrallying for a game that was clearly going to win? Counterrallying can still be bad in this format because of spillover (and losing control), but it's not a "double standard" at all. also Ulti you are being willfully ignorant. There isn't a double standard. sides of the bracket. If the final came down to rally vs. rally, I might

Why this result doesn't matter even if CT losing at its strongest is really sad: A) If Melee can edge out CT, then Undertale's much stronger rally would stomp all over Chrono Trigger with probably embarrassing results. B) CT probably wasn't making it to Undertale anyway since Tumblr is much more likely to favor FFVII with the spillover, which would probably leave all the people right now clamoring for Undertale to save them from the menace that is Melee swearing revenge on the game they're now calling their savior. I'm personally thrilled by this result even though Chrono is one of my favorite games since I am positive the Undertale rally will destroy Pokémon tomorrow and a rally war between Melee and Undertale is a much more entertaining prospect. --- .-#Elements of Water#-. |
