I'm
not inherently against rallies. 4chan rallies were always annoying but
they never accomplished anything too screwy so we never really cared.
The board consensus was pro- L-block, IIRC. LOL kind of soured us all on

update push close to 200, but then it tailed off. Reddit just brings in

If CT had gotten a rally and was up 80-20, the reaction here would be a lot more chipper than it is now. CT was winning the match handily before the rallying bulls*** started. Not exactly, if you look at the rallied votes/hour chart, you can see it started off strong and fell off fairly sharply, then rose again in the morning when a new group of voters saw it. With all the pro/anti rally discussion here's my opinion - I am in favor of whatever helps me win a cash prize. If the rally helps me win a prize - then great! If the rally prevents me from winning a prize - then it's evil! If you take the prize out, then rooting for the underdog and/ or mass chaos becomes fun. You can slice it any way you want, but most people in this topic are unhappy about Melee's rally today because they want CT to win - nothing more - nothing less. That being said, I need FF7 to beat OOT, so who can help me figure out how to rally for FFVII? --- Yay - Raytan is the guru champion of awesomeness. |
