Nick's facebook group always struck me as a blatant paper tiger. It was never going to be worth much and it indeed hasn't been. Something to note about this Melee rally is that there's no reason to think this specific rally won't happen every single games contest. League's subreddit disallows rallies now and apparently they have trouble mustering the nominations to actually get entrants in (though I'm sure infamy alone will bring Draven back next contest). Undertale fandom may fade some when the game isn't so recent and I certainly wouldn't expect its fans to be so enthusiastic about pushing their game in stuff like this a few years from now. I think being able to utterly destroy the game after knowing it's ins and outs kills the fun a bit for me, that's probably what it is. Definitely not saying it doesn't have replay value though. |

Because the original experience no longer exists while FFT does. I def wouldn't put WoW as my #3 if we were counting warlords though not even closeeeeeeeeeeee. WoW is an ever-evolving game experience for me. Expansions are fair game for judging a game like WoW. I completely agree, and I think it goes in the opposite direction, too. I really, really want CT to win this one but I really find myself nonplussed by the melee rallies. I've
decided about a million times that my top 5 are Metroid Prime, Wind
Waker, Resident Evil 4, Shadow of the Colossus, and Ocarina of Time, but

Yeah, CT is stronger than anything Undertale faced, but SSBM has started in a better spot than Undertale ever did. That could change as this goes on though.
