pjbasis posted... If Smash had this huge rally potential why have we not seen it win do crazy things before I can address this: Smash has never been rallied on it's main sites, only reddit. Most smashers are not on reddit believe it or not. Not only that, but the competiteve smash scene(the most likely people to vote for this) has gotten HUGE in the past 2-3 years. The smash documentary + it's inclusion into Evolution(the largest fighting game tournament) over the past few years has made the community massive. I don't know why people would want an undertale rally over a smash rally. The people voting on melee are people who have played it for 14 years and absolutely love the game, many do think it's the best game ever made because of it's competitive depth(as hard as a concept this may be to understand). It wouldn't just be fanboyism/tumblr nonsense, it would be genuine fans that have stood the test of time and aren't riding on newgamehype waves. Also also, a lot of people rallied for melee will vote for CT. This I can promise you.
