I don't think that many voters are Undertale fans. Sure, a lot are - maybe even a majority - but there's tons
of people who got rallied for that match and voted for Undertale
without anything more than a cursory knowledge of the game. I know a

think FFX genuinely has been knocked down a few pegs in terms of
contest strength; every single one of its matches suggested as much.
There was no indication of a Melee drop, though, unless you really want
to spin-doctor Smash U's results to work against it. (And you

FFX looks like it may be redeemed, if CT keeps rising after the Power Hour. I think CT has a shot at finishing at 62+%. Leon, did you really believe Melee would finish low enough to redeem FFX or was that just a joke? Personally I expected 63% for CT here (a couple points SFF vs FFX), but everyone was much lower in the Oracle than that. So I went with a conservative 60.25%, which was still higher than most. CT/Melee has 176 more votes than FF6/FF7 MGS/SOTC and MGS3/ME2 were separated by 19 votes MGS2/RE4 and CC/SMRPG were separated by 31 votes there are about 900 more votes in the CT match than there were in the other listed matches --- xyzzy |

A smashboards rally would also be much stronger than the reddit rally though, especially if you get the top players to tweet out the competition as just for example M2K (https://twitter.com/MVG_Mew2King) has 71K followers, and that is only one of the top players. My assumption is that FFX dropped a lot, while Melee's pre-rally numbers against Pokemon GSC were fairly well in line with their GotD performances. CT is awesome when it comes to natural GameFAQs strength. When it comes to a significant rally plus a near elite game's strength, though, it can be vulnerable.
