have a feeling that FF6 vs FF7 is going to turn into Final
Fantasy(without FF7) vs FF7. FF7 has stolen so much of the limelight
over the years that I cant imagine fans of other games in the series or
neutrals coming to the match backing FF7. I think its going to be
extremely close even if FF7 is probably a good deal stronger normally. |

looking at stats stuff. The big stickler for this result is that it
makes San Andreas look *awful* and Shenmue look *amazing*. Might just
have to chalk that up to GTA weirdness though. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
Shenmue 3 hype is real. I'm not even joking. Nobody had thought about that game in literally 15 years, and the hype when they announced the Shenmue 3 kickstarter was legitimate. That was probably the strongest Shenmue has ever been on this site. --- http://i.imgur.com/3DwCNLJ.gif |

Mentioned this earlier, but through WoW and San Andreas CC is at 35% on MM thru GOTD. RE4 is at 43, so it is expected to get just over 59% on CC. SMRPG is probably gonna end up just below (or just above) that. Looks to be a close match, plus - it will have crazy trends! More FUN WITH (METAL GEAR) NUMBERS If MGS2 = MGS4 SSBM beats RE4 with 58.73% KH2 beats RE4 with 53.84% SSBM beats Paper Mario with 66.05% The Last of Us beats New Vegas with 51.61% The Paper Mario number would project a 52.79% win for Melee against Majora's Mask. KH2 would project a 55.12% for Majora, so yeah. So I'm attempting to adjust stats right now, and they more or less make sense if you assume 2 things: 1. Wind Waker was SFFd in 2010 by Majora, by a little bit. 2. Wind Waker boosted from 2010 from 2015. If you do that, things more or less fall in line. I'll take a closer look after the night vote has made things settle, but yeah. Predicts a pretty close match between RE4/SMRPG next round. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Just for comparison's sake, SMRPG's percentage after 2 hours Oblivion - 58.26% (61.13% at freeze, finished with 54.43%) GTAV - 59.68% (63.89% at freeze, finished with 57.20%) Chrono Cross - 62.29% (62.65% at freeze) MGS2 went down quite a bit from here in both of its matches.
