judging pics, Mass Effect's 2 is probably the worst of the contest so

indicating a boost, do you think Oblivion boosted, as well? Given that
Vice City looked pretty good against FFVIII, maybe the GTA series hasn't

Wander
isn't exactly what carries Shadow of the Colossus, especially not the
way Snake carries MGS. That melancholy aesthetic and color palette, and
the actual Colossi, are way more a part of the game's identity than its

I don't have that because I'm not a slave to it. I pretty much looked at that top 100 games thing from last year and asked whether I could see any of the results in question happening in a contest match. is a pretty crazy result from SMRPG, although not one I would have
thought impossible pre-contest - but GTAV being so decisively ahead of
San Andreas is screwing with me. Darn you RacistFAQs As for the question of SMRPG/Paper Mario, I'll fully believe in SMRPG when I finally see that final number posted on RE4. I don't necessarily see a problem with Paper Mario doing what SMRPG has done if their positions were swapped, though. And RE4 looks fine to me today, but that's because I think MGS1 coasts through that quarterfinals match. It might have to put up with a bit of a scare today because of pics, but I have faith in its strength to pull through. The MGS3/ME2 pic turned what was probably a 50/50 match into something MGS3 takes without a problem now, albeit perhaps in a way similar to MGS3/Bioshock. --- Goddamn Ocarina of Time |
Epona
deserves another chance -- beating Ike like that is proof enough, plus
GLaDOS really impressed that year too. If Epona wasn't dealing with
LFF...well GLaDOS should win anyway, but I think Epona would have

List. A game not listed auto loses, if both games are not listed then
the higher seed wins. Division 1 Wrong: Persona 3 > DQVIII The Last of Us > Kingdom Hearts II Not bad, Dragon Quest VIII was not on the list. Division final is CT > SSBM Division 2 Wrong: Planescape: Torment > Super Smash Bros. 4 Planescape: Torment > Mass Effect SSB4 wasn't released when the list was made so it auto loses. Division final is FFVII > FFVI Division 3 Wrong: Portal 2 > Sonic 2 Super Mario Bros. 3 > Pokemon RBY Portal 2 > Uncharted 2 Fallout 3 > Undertale Super Mario Bros. 3 > Portal 2 Super Mario World > Undertale The list really drops the ball in this division, even ignoring Undertale. number is obviously inflated by all of the desperate rallying going on

big of an inflation are we talking here? Rallying is going to be part
of the game at this point, so I don't know if I'd hold that against
Witcher 3. Either way, MGS2 cleanly beats Paper Mario and New Vegas

Well,
I wouldn't have necessarily predicted MGS2/New Vegas to do what they're
expected to do against Paper Mario, but the numbers are what they are.
Not convinced they wouldn't do the same to SMRPG. It's had a really soft
path up to now, perhaps Oblivion notwithstanding. And... it was a lot of rallying. People were trying to trigger a rally sufficient to get Witcher 3 to the finals, and between all of the activity just I spotted on the Witcher reddit, twitter, Facebook all throughout the day, it was pretty obviously substantial. I don't know what that makes the day's numbers look like, though I'd expect some rallying would be masked by these games not being good vote draws (see: today). --- Goddamn Ocarina of Time |

I actively welcome if SMRPG can hang as high as people are thinking. I
like RE4, but SMRPG is easily my preference in Division 7 and even Div
7/8 aside from MGS1 and maybe ME2. SMRPG/ME2 would be one heck of a

Using Morrowind's ratio to Oblivion from GOTD suggests that... is not equal to Oblivion, it's not even close. Skyrim > Oblivion is
about as much of a lock as you can get in terms of series hierarchy. I'm
going to suggest that this may be one of the few rare instances where

I have a hard time imagining Prime beating Wind Waker (although Super
Metroid did almost beat Majora), so at the very least, the gap shouldn't
