Here are the facts: In 09: FF9 was projected at 41% on FFX and 44% on KH In 15: FF9 beat KH So a constant FFX + constant KH yields FF9 at 47% on FFX already. Then yes you have to consider if KH dropped, but you also have to consider if FFX dropped. If FFX dropped more, the match would be even closer than 47%, whereas if KH dropped more it would be further away. We didn't get to see any other KH matches, but: KH2 was projected based on 09 to get 41% on Melee and it got 44.5. MMX was projected based on 09 to get 32% on FFX and it got 44.5. So its pretty clear FFX has dropped. Even if we expect that Melee has dropped a bit, KH2 doing better than expectation on it by 3.5% pretty much indicates no likely drop for it. Given KH2 has not dropped and FFX has significantly, I would surmise FFX has dropped a good deal more than KH, even if KH dropped. Hence FF9 would do even better than 47% on FFX (its expectation with KH+FFX being 09 constant). FF9 is probably pretty close to FF10 now and OoT's performance on it is without SFF, while CT's on FFX is with SFF. --- Not changing this sig until Cleveland wins a title started 6/2/07 |

Unless
this contest ends with something like CT/OoT or FF7/OoT we're not going
to have a truly clean read on the bracket. Those two results are,

It's sad for CT, FFVII and the others (but not OoT , it can go lose to SOTN for all I care) but I think the winner of the contest will be decided in that match. |

stronger this year). last night i thought the MM pic one of the best i'd
