I just woke up and I checked the results. This is what I have to say: 1st match=Man LTTP will finish above 70%? Amazing! 2nd match=Okay what is the champion doing? I really don't get why SM was underestimated so much The only times it got beat hard was when it got SFF'd by LTTP Being so close to Super Mario Kart doesn't mean it's a weak game, what made people think that it was? Super Metroid is generally considered the best Metroid title, it goes 50/50 with Metroid Prime from what I have seen in debates and polls etc This matchi is not surprising at all, especially after it wrecked COD4 and Super Mario Galaxy so much, I was surprised to see Charmander giving MM 65% here and the spread betting giving MM 57% --- 3DS FC : 3411-1762-0066 |

Nintendo hierarchy is Zelda > Mario > Metroid, but that doesn't
mean Samus isn't going to beat the tar out of Zelda the character. It
took the weakest Samus in the history of the contest for Zelda to even
be competitive with Samus, and next time they faced Samus buried her in

Well, if Super Metroid ends up winning this match How do we predict LTTP-Super Metroid then? Do we give LTTP a 74% win like in 2004, 70% like in 2009 when it was dragged down by LA, 72% when it wasn't dragged down by LA, or actually give it a decent shot? VC was largely static throughout the poll and you wouldn't expect that game to do well pretty much any time. subjectively, I'd expect Majora's Mask to be more night-oriented than a typical Zelda game just because of the kind of game it is. Majora may even be the darker game here. maps suggest this will be close all day too. USA is at 50.5/49.5 SM, Canada 51/49 MM, UK 56/44 MM, Spain/France/Germany lean SM... it's completely unpredictable where this goes from here, but it should remain very, very close. maybe one game ends up going 51/49 from here, but I wouldn't expect anything significant. *hits reload* oh, and Super Metroid has its biggest lead of the match now with people starting to wake up. hrm. --- xyzzy |
