how can you be hoping Undertale wins? Like, even if you genuinely love
the game, unless it is one of your favorite games ever you should be

guess like me he wants to see a good game that nobody expected to do
something to win the whole thing. I am for Pokemon R/B/Y myself, because

GameFAQs's outliering doesn't come from its Nintenlove, at any rate. It comes from things like Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger even contending for top game on the site to begin with. Thar's true for CT but as much as FF7 has fallen from grace it's still pretty popular and I commonly see it make at least top 10 or 5 on other sites. The reaction for the remake was insane all throughout the Internet. It just has a veeeeery vocal hatebase, probably The biggest for a game of its kind. |

will never ever understand why FF7 gets hated on so much. I love that
game to absolute death, and it just sucks seeing the internet turn on it

can tell you why FF 7 is hated. Because it brought the spiky hair, big
sword, androgynous protagonist and villain. Or at least it made them

From what I've played of the game, while I love it (not like top 5 or anything though), I can see why someone would think the plot is weird/silly/stupid/whatever and wouldn't be able to take it seriously. Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger are games that get a lot of hype in general, although admittedly they probably wouldn't be as popular elsewhere compared to here. Seems
to be a lot of love for post-Genesis Sega on those IGN lists. If
they're going to rank Shenmue, Radiant Silvergun, and Panzer Dragoon

The random RE4 at #1 in 2005 floored me I'll admit. ...though not as much as Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory at #3 that year, beating out literally every other game except RE4 and OoT. I think Chaos Theory arguably isn't even a Top 1000 game on GameFAQs. --- Welcome to the League of Stickies. |

Soul
Calibur is, like, possibly my favorite fighting game of all time,
period. But my tastes have been voted down so frequently that I know

It
is kind of weird just how bad Splinter Cell is on gamefaqs compared to
how strong Metal Gear is. I guess it is basically an Xbox franchise,
though, and MGS's story and general Kojima weirdness is more attractive
