transience posted... so... excluding Undertale, top 5? FF6 has played its way out of contention. FF7.. well, this isn't encouraging from a pure results perspective. I'm considering this right now with the limited data that we have. Just because Chrono Trigger is so strong, doesn't necessarily mean LttP is that strong. LttP might be on that tier. yeah, LTTP's number is totally an assumption. I have a hard time doubting it when Wind Waker is giving FF6 such a fight. not like it matters anyway. had a chance to look at round 1 and round 2 vote total trends for the
highest and lowest voted matches of each day. On average, this is the
percent difference in vote totals between the highest and lowest voted
matches of each day for round 1 and round 2: Round 1 - 4.65% Round 2 - 3.63% For both of those rounds, I threw out the match days that happened on the Undertale matches since they would have thrown off those numbers somewhat. In particular, the day of Undertale's round 2 match had a 10.10% difference in vote totals for the highest voted and lowest voted match for that day. That 10.10% difference is the highest discrepancy in vote totals between the highest and lowest voted matches on any given day. There is less of a discrepancy in vote totals between the highest and lowest voted matches on any given day during round 2, since you have stronger games on average compared to round 1 and this means voters are more likely to vote in all 4 matches. With the switch to 2 polls per day, the apparent boost in vote totals could be the result of even stronger games being present in these matches, as you're not too likely to have weak games making it to this stage of the contest. 2 polls per day is probably also causing higher vote totals since it's easier to vote in just 2 matches per day instead of 4 matches, so people who might be too lazy to spend their time trying to vote in 4 matches are more likely to vote when you have just 2 matches running. --- Luster Soldier --- ~Shield Bearer~ | ~Data Analyst~ Popular at school, but not as cool as raytan7585, Guru Champ! |

a pro Brawl player and now pro Smash 4 player...Ulti's amount of
greater-thans in front of Brawl is probably closer to reality than it
should be. Brawl was a side event at our major over last weekend, and it was a bunch of us trying to remember how to play, and more importantly, trying to remember why we played, as every game took 6 minutes and had 0 action. --- Viviff on the go!
