Yeah, I don't think today's match means a lot for FFVI. It would be lucky to even approach 60% on Wind Waker. Oh, and here's something interesting - if you hold Final Fantasy X and Dragon Quest VIII constant from Game of the Decade, and then extrapolate CT from DQVIII, CT was expected to get 66.02% on FFX. RE4 and MGS3 have underwhelmed so far. I'm excited to see TP to see
where it's at vs. Mario 64. it feels like that could be a mercy killing

Matches
like this make me think CT would overperform on any square game besides
FF7/FF6 perhaps. Mainly because with it being such an iconic SNES
game, it has a large pull from the Nintendo fans. The problem with
going again FF7 though is that the square fans flock to that game
heavily, and it's simply been stronger. The problem with FF6 is that it
has to compete for the nintendo fan vote. Anyone else see it like

Honestly
Chrono Trigger matching up to its UYA and DQ8 projections is a scary
coincidence. If it doesn't end up being a coincidence then this contest

has honestly had zero good performances this year. it's not really fair
because it has so many low tier/new games in here and it's been put in a
position to fail, but can you name a single performance that really
impressed you? the closest is FF8/Mario World and that's tainted to all
