Golden Sun is a fairly strong game. 34% on FFX is not a bad result at all...well, at least FFX from 2010. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Cross's not dead against SMRPG. The game's only pulled 54% on Oblivion
and 56% on GTAV. I'd be surprised if CC could beat Oblivion but if it

RE4 is just in a tier that's pretty large, and all of those games can beat each other. throw in classic games and it gets messy. it's only weird because, at one time, we thought RE4 might be on the cusp of the top 10. --- xyzzy |

is already projected to get around 43.5% on RE4, using their 2009/2010

RE4 is like the perfect action game. It's not that complex or ground-breaking but it's so thrilling. The game makes sure you're never too relaxed, that you're always fearing for your life and barely surviving the huge waves of zombies it throws at you. Rather than only having good aim or dodge skills, you need to learn to be resourceful and think of news ways of combining your weapons and environment to deal with enemy crowds. I love it. Maybe the best game on the Gamecube, though Metroid Prime 1/2, Zelda TP and Melee are also games that I love. |

I actually enjoy inventory management but I don't think a game should limit your character's movement to achieve its ends. Standing still aiming was the absolute worst. Even worse than the ADS plague that COD has inflicted upon gaming. Old school PC shooters and stuff like Halo that allow maximum movement and have hipfire with no aiming penalty let the player create magic on the screen in my opinion. RE4's action is bland in comparison. Don't get me wrong, it is tense, but I think it creates false tension with its poor movement. RE4 feels very constricting in comparison. RE4 could have been something like Halo's Flood levels but with inventory management. In Halo you are stuck in many tense situations with the Flood bearing down on you in a corner and you have to constantly dodge and run while firing and I find it FAR more intense than Leon standing still aiming at a bunch of slow ass zombies. Yeah, a lot of RE4's fun is figuring out how to escape when the enemies suddenly ambush you. Then find a safe position and fight back. If you could just go Super Mario and run past everything, it would be too easy. |

RE4's
use of a gun is a realistic approach. Outside of not being able to use
