Still
don't know why Dark Souls and Super Metroid winning were considered
upsets. It seemed fairly obvious to me. Not trying to be smug, but MGSV
literally came two months ago. It hasn't had time to really sit with
people yet. And even then, that ending really, really burned people.
Meanwhile, Dark Souls has become synonmous with 'hardcore' gaming in the

Eh,
Majora's Mask is a way different animal than SMG. If Super Metroid can
beat it, it'll obviously finally have proven itself to be legit in a big

Yeah I'm saying Super Metroid is where she got the biggest exposure and it is massively praised and respected on one of the most respected consoles ever. SMG was respected on the Wii which has received backlash. And was a very casual friendly game. Still a great game, but yeah. will say that these matches help spell doom for the rest of my bracket
though, as Final Fantasy VI is going to crush Wind Waker. Look at what
MM is doing to one of the newest FF games, and now reverse that. That's
FFVI vs WW. It will take incredible Zelda bias to turn that one. And as a couple posts (maybe more?) have pointed out, I am a BIT scared of Metroid versus Majora now, but I still think Zelda is a heavy and healthy favorite. --- http://i.imgur.com/gByqgPg.gif |
