one of the best RPGs, hell games, ever. Extremely underrated for years because it was extremely expensive and no ports of the game existed till last gen.

I second This!! Suikoden III and Suikoden V were also just as great if not better.

The fact that there wasn't anyone close enough to capitalize is besides the point; he was closer to the field than he's been in a long time then. And I'd bet he's even closer today.

Well, I'd wager it's the same thing. Link was closer to the field than he was in years, and OoT may be, too.

But I doubt anyone other than Undertale can beat it all the same. No Nintendo game can do it, and FFVII is in the same boat OoT is in, only instead fighting for its life to stay #2.

Undertale vs RBY in the Tumblr confused votersathon.
ALttP vs Majoras Mask to settle that once and for all.
Super Mario RPG vs RE 4 in the ultimate shot for new games
MGS vs MGS3 as the end of that debate
CT's clutch vs FF VII's anti votes.
SM 64 vs Pokemon
OoT vs ALttP or Majora in the ultimate SFF slaughter
FF VII or CT vs RBY for strongest RPG.
FF VII vs 64 for #2 position
CT's clutch vs SM 64's cheat in a revenge match
FF VII vs OoT in the rubber match, or
CT's clutch vs OoT god status

Xenoblade is a special case with Europe. that game absolutely should be stronger there.
