the rally doesn't even seem to be favoring RBY to an insane degree. It
was getting big updates before the Undertale rally even started. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

unintentionally following its path and a lot of them are Pokemon fans.
If they are a bigger Pokemon fan, they may build a connection with

You know what the Pokemon fandom cares about most on there? The story and characters. It is a CONSTANT barrage of character fanart. I almost never, EVER see Pokemon blogs talking about actual Pokemon. It's the trainers, the gym leaders. It's character shipping. SO much fanart from ORAS and XY. not that this will happen or anything but if fallout 3 keeps gaining 50 votes per update until the same time undertale starting cutting mass effect 3, it'll be up 11k votes. |

Huge game spanning character portraits and crossover images are extremely common. Mini-comics, fanfic snippets, all that. They almost never have anything from RBY or GSC. Those games are dead last on Tumblr, no question. That's why the whole idea of Tumblr being some big push for RBY is so hilarious. Tumblr doesn't give a f*** about gen 1 or 2, they are the polar opposite of a Gen1-er. It was a baseless assumption from a bunch of people here that don't actually use Tumblr, or don't follow any Pokemon blogs. You want to know where an RBY boost would come from? hate ORAS, but if we're actually gonna go by what the Tumblr Pokemon
fandom cares about in general, it's much stronger than the rest of the
series! Like, what the f*** does Gen 1 have? Gary's an a****** and Snorlax won't get out of the way? They've got nothing to latch onto there! But Grimsley and Shantal?
