Unless
you think Melee is just going to completely obliterate KH2 next round
(not completely out of the realm of possibility, but I'd be surprised),
you can't rule out KH2 beating GSC. GSC may not even break 40% on Melee

Keep
in mind that TP got 57% on KH2 back in GOTD. I'd wager most people
would take Melee > TP at this point, but I don't think it would be

For
the record, TWEWY and DQ8 being very close together corroborates the
GOTD X-Stats. They're right next to each other there, although DQ8 is

I guess it's just too hard to rally against another classic Nintendo game. I did rally about 500 or votes or so on facebook though, thought it would snowball/go viral. |

reddit rally has been up for, like, every match within 60/40 so far
this contest and a good amount that weren't. In most cases it's not
going to do anything but at this point we should consider it part of
some games' intrinsic strength. No chance Melee doesn't get a rally in

but the key is having an active community. the competitive smash
community is so singular and monogamous that they flock together
forever. there isn't going to be a concentrated Chrono Trigger community
for example because hey that's a single played game that's 20 years

r/smash rally is getting it to around 60/40 on Pokemon (r/pokemon has a
rally, but it's about a third as active as the Smash reddit). If these
CT matches are legit that's still not going to be enough. The big

competitive Smash community isn't big enough to create a rally to be
afraid of. And if this day vote is the rally, well, all this is doing

wouldn't even though it's guaranteed to win), that's going to seal FFX's

takes exactly 30 seconds to put up a rally thread on reddit, and I'm
being conservative with that estimate. There's little incentive against
rallying in every single match other than perhaps creating rally fatigue
on the part of communities, and in the case of very active communities
