Hmm instant reactions... CT/DQ8 is hilarious but given that this is 99% guaranteed to be SFF I don't know if it means it's going to be a real threat to making the finals. FFX is, uh, pretty screwed it looks like, even if MMX is guaranteed to be an early vote phenomenon. FF10 should rise overnight but this doesn't look like it'll clear 60% I'm starting to believe in my new square/old square theory. we can't say anything about ff7 until r3 though. --- xyzzy |

have to think CT is SFFing DQ8 here to some extent (they're both JRPGs,
and furthermore both in a certain mold of "charming, not too serious"
JRPGs, unlike say FF7 or FFX). I think P3 would have held up a bit

still have serious doubts about CT being able to do anything against
Melee. Pulverizing GSC like this, assuming it's stayed constant, is not

At the very least, the finals will be Chrono Trigger vs. Super Smash Bros. Melee. Though I'm pretty confident Chrono Trigger will win (my bracket has Melee). --- Video Games are pretty cool. |

It is a different beast from GSC. And I truly think Melee has seen a boost from competitive resurgence and Wii/WiiU backlash. Undertale will save me this round at minimum. RBY
is going to ride the Undertale rally until it hillarously backfires on
Undertale because Tumblr likes Pokemon more and Pokemon is only there
because of Undertale. RBY then bows out to Mario 64 and my bracket is
back on track. In the end we learn nothing about the Mario hierarchy. --- No amount of rallying would let me beat raytan7585. Congrats to raytan7585 for winning the CB9 Guru Contest! |
