Link was legit threatening a comeback at the end and Draven couldn't do a thing about it. Draven got 2400 votes in hour 23 and still handily lost the hour! So much for Draven having any sort of infinite rally power. He was being rallied heavily at the end, and STILL losing. The true tragedy of the match is that this was probably the GOAT contest performance by Link and he got robbed. Link's finest hour though. Again I must emphasize - I think some people didn't properly evaluate the MMX/Ryu result because they were thinking of our x-stats, where MMX and Ryu are probably extra strong. Despite
its lack of an EU release originally, I don't think EB is going to have
the same severe joke trends that SMRPG had. The UK is favoring

That's Link feeding off the Draven rally. Vote totals during the 2 hours the site was down affected both characters equally. What did people the MMX/Ryu Draven again? Draven Supreme or something? Amusing name, but since Reddit has such different preferences it likely overrated Draven compared to Link. red sox 777 posted... Other sites are subject to increases and decreases in activity too. The 7 hours that rally was going were peak hours for internet traffic in North America (5 - midnight eastern, 2-9 PM Pacific). The reason Gamefaqs vote intake is not above average in these hours is that many voters have already earlier in the day, for instance at the beginning of the poll on the previous evening. But the rally would eventually run into slower time periods, and when it got back into high activity periods, it would face the problem that many people have already voted. Tumblr did have like 60% of the vote during those hours though, IIRC? I can't recall my numbers. But I get the impression something getting popular on Tumblr is way more random than say Reddit. So that adds yet another unpredictable element. the plus side the dude that started said he didn't realize that people
really cared about the contest and said that he would frame it more as
"hey if you like Undertale go support it" rather than a "stick it to the

I
don't think there are any predictions that can be made about an
Undertale rally. The upper ceiling is probably even higher than Lol
subreddit (tumblr is big) but the strength of the rallies will hang on
how many big posters will reblog it. And that's something than can
change every match. By preparing the rallies, people can make them more efficient but in the end it will still be variable (big posters get tired of it, are busy, forget about it ,etc ...) So no matter how good Undertale did before, I feel like it will still be in danger every round. (edited 11/18/2015 11:35:43 PM)report |

the Steven Universe fanbase on Tumblr made like 40 blogs dedicated to
harassing one girl who posted her art there. At the very least there's a

think Tumblr would give a pretty big boost to new Nintendo. Games I
think would significantly be helped besides those we've already seen

"Shipping" is being supportive of a (often hypothetical) relationship between fictional characters. is a rather notorious user who took the Tumblr rally too hard and
claims a conspiracy that Tumblr is out on a crusade against GameFAQs to
spread their political views and what I feel are low standards. The guy is acting very immature right now, hence his topic is apparently being spread at the website. TRE has already explained what a shipping war is. They're valuable sources of entertainment, due to the way people behave in supporting their ship and attacking others. My favorite ones are those from Pokemon and Naruto. Oh, and LordoftheMorons, there is such a thing as "crack shipping", where users ship characters that have absolutely no chance of happening at all. Examples of this would be Max and Bonnie from Pokemon, or Sasuke and Hinata from Naruto. --- Ole, ole, ole, ole. Ole! Ole! In
one of the stats topics on the last day before the contest, I posted my
bracket and asked people to point out obvious mistakes. Someone
mentioned that I had Borderlands 2 making it to the division finals,
losing to MGS3. I went back and changed it so it loses to MGS1 in round

"Pearlshipping" is the concept of Ash and Dawn from Pokemon being in a romantic relationship. The supporters go deep into twisting anything between Ash and Dawn into something romantic, and often see so-called "hints" when they aren't really there. They make an assumption that the dialogue and friendship between the two characters is a sign that the two are in (or going to be in) romantic love, and ignore signs that go against that and as well as signs support that other shippings. And that's what is happening with Ash and the current girl, Serena. Unlike Dawn, Serena shows blatant romantic feelings for Ash, and these guys took it really hard and did everything they could to bash Serena and "Amourshipping" while continuing the claim that Ash likes Dawn and vice versa. And that was unbeatable on every front. The rally wasn't stickied because Draven was losing though. That's a false comparison. MGS's
performance went from "yuck, it sucks" to "pretty decent" within a few
hours time..... and it did it with a pic that resembles that of an ISIS

This is what I have to say: 1st match=MGS is doing good 2nd match=A JRPG is beating a WRPG 3rd match=Hope SOTC can do good in all the matches! 4th match=If Bayonetta 2 wasn't a Wii exlusive it would win! Potter shipping wars were the best. I remember half of the fanbase
going insane because Harry didnn't end up with Hermione. Naruto had sone good ones too. There are still people butthurt over naru-hina. |
