Resident
Evil (the original) could probably beat a game like San Andreas on the
name alone or atleast come really close. I also think this Paper Mario

Maybe
people are reluctant to accept the possibility of RE4 = MGS3, given
that persistent idea that RE4 could beat FFX in GOTD that never really
panned out. Or maybe they just want Paper Mario to actually be really really weak which I totally get, RE4 to bomb next round against, what, New Vegas, sure, why not, CONFIRMED --- Welcome to the League of Stickies. |

People aren't giving Re4 enough credit here. It's probably the 2nd strongest non rpg /nintendo game on this site. You have to understand the types of games people like and thr limit of how popular a game can be. Re4 is pretty much solely a gameplay driven action game. I just checked the results. This is what I have to say: 1st match=Witcher 3 doing as expected. Nice. 2nd match=This match is closer than I thought. I guess MGS 2 is the most hated of the series. 3rd match=FNV is doing okay I believe. Fallout 4 hype is helping it. 4th match=Resident Evil 4 is doing lower than I expected. I guess against a Mario RPG game is doing good. Console faqs? --- Why do we exist?What happens when we stop existing? |
59% is damn impressive against Paper Mario I don't know why so many people are disappointed. |

Nah, RE4 and MGS2 look fine here. RE1 managed 45% against SOTN, the same SOTN that put up a monstrous performance a week ago. Paper Mario scored 42% against MGS3 in a day match, it does have legit strength imo. --- Man is not the creature of circumstances. Circumstances are the creatures of man. |

would really like to see how well Resident Evil would be doing with
Remake in the title and boxart. Its such a huge improvement over
Resident Evil 1 that I cant help but feel it would be performing a lot
better. It was also exclusive to a Nintendo console for a long time
which would probably help even more. |

Honestly
that sounds right. Most of the time I hear people say MGS2 is the
weakest MGS but still great. That's my opinion on the game too. I hear people say MGS2 is the best MGS game more often than people say they hate it. And even though I attacked MGS2 fans for being pretentious in a previous stats topic, I at least understand where they're coming from and even personally appreciate the complexity of MGS2's plot. MGS2
is doing fine, RE is slightly weaker than SotN, add in the fact FFX got
63% on it in 2009 and this is around the performance you would expect. --- BGE3: Today's Matches Witcher 3>BoI:R, MGS2>RE, Fallout:NV>BS:I, RE4>PM Points 46/52 |
