I think Kart would beat the hell of out Galaxy (unfortunately). Galaxy's not strong. It's an apathy vote game for the most part outside of real platforming enthusiasts, and OldFAQs is gonna crush it. --- Welcome to the League of Stickies. |

Kart 64 is the best in the series. I would be okay with SMK winning; I
would grimace if any other Mario Kart somehow beat it (though that

feel like Diddy Kong Racing is the weakest game from Rare's stint with
Nintendo. Aside from... like, Donkey Kong Land and its ilk. That's not to say that it's bad. It's just a mediocre title in a god-tier lineup. Rare in its heyday was unparalleled. --- JAK The Character Battle IX people's champ. |

think you're my age, right creative? mid-30s? I played the holy hell
out of SMK multiplayer and MK64 just felt slow. I won't argue with your
opinion and am glad you enjoyed it but man -- man -- I did not
have anything near the level of fun that I had with SMK. I've always
left MK64 fans in the bucket of "kids who played it when they were 10
and that's why they liked it." it's an elitist attitude but I just

I
would give Donkey Kong 64 a slight edge over Diddy Kong Racing. This
should probably be taken with a grain of salt, however, as I have not
played either game in many years. I owned very few N64 games back in the day, due to how expensive they were, so I actually missed out on GoldenEye. Mario Kart 64 was naturally the go-to 4-player title we had. Lots of good times with that one, and eventually Smash 64 as well. MK64
is a lot slower than SMK and it is terrible to look at today and the
rubberbanding is obnoxious and the courses take forever without exploits but most importantly it introduced the Blue Shell and that's why you're all going to hell --- Welcome to the League of Stickies. |

am not even sure which of the two old MK's I prefer. I'd probably give

DKR was honestly superior in almost every way, and I say this despite playing MK64 more often. --- raytan stepped on me in the guru contest. |
