Common Stats Topic Lingo Defined*~ SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote. This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense. Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. people fell off the Top 50. Valin_Lenoir, HyperSage, Rhyno15,
metalmillita, RE4guy, foolm0r0n, jrolin, SiegedEagle, Peridot_Heart,
GreatBUM, prbrow and unknown_suspect had at least one of aLttP, FF2,
MGS5 or Dark Souls losing. 2 people got one wrong and survived. Former third place MrSmartGuy and rickjames111 only scored 3 points yesterday but are still on the leader board. --- No amount of rallying would let me beat raytan7585. Congrats to raytan7585 for winning the CB9 Guru Contest! |

If
the argument for Super Metroid is that it can shine like a champ
against non-Nintendo (don't really buy it, but I will right now for the
sake of entertaining it), I don't really see what it can do against
Majora. It's practically a 90s game as is and one of the strongest

tran in fanboy mode is kinda funny to watch I still want to see Super Metroid against a game that isn't Call of Duty. That's like a perfect 'revered classic versus modern game that shouldn't be here anymore' thing. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

yeah I'll probably back galaxy next round (though that's not set in
stone). big numbers can't reverse the fact that it took the fight of its
life to beat super mario kart. super metroid will need to prove to me

For 00s/10s games to be more popular here, we would need this site to bring in a larger number of younger people on a regular basis, something that we aren't doing right now. Most of the younger people visiting this site are generally the ones who first come here from a Google search result and bypass the homepage. going to be pretty damn weird if, after all of these crazy performances
