creativename posted... Using Luster's age poll trend charts, I calculated the average age by time segment. I counted things as "under 9" and "over 45" as 9 and 45. And things like "21-24" as 22.5. using the same method I used to calculate the overall average based on

Well,
there was some discussion about SOTN getting weaker since it's getting
pretty old now and Castlevania is a niche series around here. SOTN

my answer didn't seem to be answered on the last thread. But you would think the DKC games (well at least 1 and 2) would be pretty popular here as they are highly regarded SNES titles. Up there with Super Mario World. Yet for some reason they don crap here. What gives? --- Video Games are pretty cool. |

Also people need to understand something about the strength of new games. Not many people have played them. Who the f*** has played mario maker? Its on the wii u And older games have been out longer so more people have played them. Fire emblem was hugely popular on 3ds. Mario games arent as special to people like they were. Even if they are masterpieces like galaxy 2. Why do you think the new super mario bros games are turd now?This site doesn't like platformers outside of the older nostalgic games. there's definitely anime s*** in MGS. But it's not full on anime
either. It's kinda like a blend of anime and traditional war movie
storytelling and that's why it is so appealing to a lot of people. It is
