Well yeah, it won't hold.

And a lot of games that were in Fallout's division (which would include BG2) have underperformed in GOTD thus far. Pretty much Skies of Arcadia is the only exception.

T&T also faced FFIX, which could be underrated due to facing FFX directly, so take those numbers with a few extra grains of salt.

Using Luster's age poll trend charts, I calculated the average age by time segment. I counted things as "under 9" and "over 45" as 9 and 45. And things like "21-24" as 22.5. That should be good enough for a proxy.

The Power Hour and ASV used to be younger than the other segements, but now everything is pretty much the same. The ASV has gotten older, the Power Hour is still slightly younger.

That's sort of what I did when I tried to calculate the average age of the site's voters for each age poll. For options like "21-24", I went with a midway number like 22.5 for my calculations. When I did my calculations, I had to rely on a weighted average, taking into consideration the number of votes for each option. So with 25-28 being the most popular option in the most recent age poll, the average age should fall somewhere within the 25-28 range.

Since I do have the poll updates for each age poll (minus the 2009 poll which I only have partial updates for), I could go back and calculate the average age of each time segment based on the number of votes each option received during that time segment.

Xenoblade currently has 62% in Britain. That's pretty substantial. Also 88% in Russia. It won't be enough if the American percentage doesn't rise though. And I'm not sure it will.
Well, I was completely wrong about Super Mario Maker. I figured that since it's 2D Mario, it'd remind people of the classic Mario games and would benefit from the strength of old games, but it's getting utterly destroyed here.
