whatisurnameplz posted... I think DKC2 can beat awakening if it wins. Awakening and xeno have similar fanbase, and I'd argue xeno beats FE. A lot of FE fans hate how awakening has the casual mode and that it has too much fan service, while I see almost no criticisms against Xenoblade No way. As I've said before, just look at the characters from the last character battle. Chrom/Lucina/Tharja are clearly stronger than Shulk/Reyn/Dunban, and I see no reason to believe that Xenoblade will close the gap in a games contest. -Chrom did as well on The Boss as Shulk did on Ratchet. -Tharja did significantly better on Aeris and Shepard than Reyn did on Spyro and Clementine. -Lucina did about twice as well against Dracula as Dunban was did against KOS-MOS. Crap.
I'm in the top 70 brackets and I'm not showing up in the top 50. And
I'm losing two matches today, so my bracket is pretty much shot for a
long time. I also have Oblivion winning, too, this round. Okay, I actually have Xenoblade > DKC2 in my bracket, and I even voted for Xenoblade.... but now that I know DKC2 is making a match with this... gooooooo DKC2! So, who should be the favorite between today's winner and Fire Emblem: Awakening? FE should probably be favored, but I can't shake the feeling that SMM is just really, really weak. --- "Ah, a party! DKC2
is already using its Old power to barely defeat Xenoblade. It's not
like it gets to apply it again and become even more powerful against

At
this point, the only way DKC2 beats FEA is if FEA and Super Mario Maker
are extremely weak. Which is possible, but I can't see the FE game that
opened the series up to casual players losing to games as weak as

I
think Mario Maker is the weakest game of the 4-pack by a large margin,
and the one that was being overestimated the most. While the other 3 are
pretty close to each other. |

Speaking
of MGSV, it's against Perfect Dark, which actually finished lower than
Skies of Arcadia in GOTD and is thus projected to get 60-40'd by
Banjo-Kazooie, a game it has beaten in a contest setting (albeit in an
lol 4-way where both were SFFd to junk). If Perfect Dark is stronger than Banjo-Kazooie then, at least going by GOTD stats, it would be on the level of Mass Effect, and assuming that's constant, Mario Galaxy 2. Which you-know-what supports. ...I JUST realized that Baldur's Gate II was 24 spots higher than Banjo-Kazooie on that top 100 from last year. Good thing I never entertained the upset! votes coming from Japan don't really represent what a native born
Japanese person would have voted for, since most of Japan's votes are
coming from foreigners living there. Very few native born Japanese

did well during the night vote because it's winning Europe quite
strongly, but it lost all its lead and has fallen behind during the day

is not weird. FF 9 was winning by a lot everywhere except USA. But
Xenoblade was winning decently except USA and Canada. And since most
