Mario
Maker -- I chose it in my bracket, but the game is way too fresh for
this contest. It has sold well, it's doing well, but updates are still
coming and it hasn't even had its first holiday yet. It's also literally
a level creator, which will limit the real appeal of it, especially
next to a RPG like FE. I dunno, this feels sort of right, even if I

thought Mario Maker would win on the Mario name alone despite picking
Awakening for my bracket. Glad to see FE:A winning since it's a
fantastic game. It probably loses to whatever wins between Xenoblade and
DKC2 though sadly. |

As
someone who picked Mario Maker in his bracket: I didn't pick it because
I placed stock in the Mario name. I picked it because I expected Fire
Emblem Awakening to be particularly weak. I wasn't necessarily wrong about FE, it's just that Mario Maker ended up being turbofodder instead of the standard fodder I expected. --- JAK The Character Battle IX people's champ. |

I called Mario Maker correctly. Originally had it going to round 3,
only to have it lose in round 1. Even though it as the potential to be a
great game, it suffers from the fact that 90% of user made levels are
complete garbage. Even the people who love the game complain about that
aspect of it. So when you put it against a solid 'non-user' created

I ended up going with Xenoblade, which could cost me 2-3 of the points
