The vast majority of people voting for Draven were just "Draven, cool." They probably didn't even know what the GameFAQS contests were. Undertale
is a really high rated game with a passionate fanbase. I don't see the

The people who see this rally do so because they already follow the Undertale tag or people who post Undertale content. Also, 4chan and reddit are also doing their best effort to rally. Undertale is popular with every demographic, even those that are usually opposites like tumblr and 4chan. |

Draven
to me was bad because it was ill-intended and brought in awful
redditors. Undertale people just seem happy it's competing, really. I also liked L-Block (the first time around) though so I'm not diametrically opposed to these sorts of things. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Because Undertale is currently one of the most active generals there. Also, some of /v/ hates Undertale now because it's had more threads than any other game in the past few months. It's still extremely popular there, in fact it's probably one of the most popular games on /v/ ever, it's just that its popularity got out of hand and /v/'s contrarian attitudes caused a lot of hate for it once the game went mainstream. |
