Undertale
should be happy with what it's getting here. It looks respectable.
Given that it's an indie game that came out a month and a half ago and
everything, maybe it will go on to do better in the future. Also, what the hell at the Planescape underestimation here, the game is a classic well regarded to this day, certainly more so than Journey. It was responsible for formerly the biggest video game Kickstarter ever and everything... UltimaterializerX posted... I know ME3 is getting anti-voted, but I wanted it to win. I
think Shovel Knight's performance will give a better idea of just how
strong Undertale and thus ME3 is, since the two games are similar
(though SK should be slightly stronger since it's been around longer and
is pretty much the indie game at this point). Fallout 3 looking good, though I'll be happier once it gets a read from something we've seen before (which is SMW so it'll get beat, but maybe it'll put up a good performance like with Brawl). If
FF7 could SFF MGS back then, not a stretch to think that it could
potentially SFF a playstation exclusive game like Journey. FFX didn't

I just checked the results. I have to say: 1st match=Fallout 3 doing really good. Of course. 2nd match=Undertale is doing good. Of course it will lose but hey. 3rd match=I thought FF 8 would break 60% for sure. What is going on? 4th match=Man SMW is doing really good! GTAV couldn't even win GOTY in 2013. Vice City is actually retrospectively one of the more popular non hateable GTA games. I wouldn't let GTAV's 1 seed fool you. Even if it makes it to round 4, RE4 will brush it aside like the low midcarder it is. Theres no evidence to suggest GTAV over the last 2 years has grown bigger than TLOU. And with Fallotu 4 release there will be a larger traffic of Bethesda game fans on here. If GTAV beats Oblivion then it will surprise me imo. I don't think GTAV should go into that match as the favourite. Especially since we don't know how strong it is and based on GOTY 2013 it won't beat Oblivion or Mario RPG. |
I thought Oblivion would be weaker now. Game no longer gets so much hype now that Skyrim is out. Someone in another topic compared it to Brawl. As far as today's matches go, I expected Mario World to push for 90% but I guess we could chalk that up to a huge time difference between both games and/or Animal Crossing having the faintest glimmer of popularity on this site. I guess being able to break 40% on WoW counts for something? Vice City...only explanation for it breaking 40% is that RE4 may have SFFd it in GOTD? I found a more recent poll with GTAV in it http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/5555-whats-your-all-time-favorite-5-game A lot of those V games are Fodder compared to a strong list of IV games so doesn't say much. Oblivion can't be that much weaker than Skyrim. Not double |

wouldn't call Oblivion niche it did sell what like 10 millions? but
Skyrim sold twice as much, Bethesda said 20 millions sold as of 2014. Still Skyrim was a lot of people's first TES game and definitely the most popular. Heck I seen some ask 'when will we get skyrim 2' --- ... |

The way I see it though, KH1 is weaker than KH2, so FFIX would have to just be worth about 55-45 on MGS4 to win, which is very doable consideration those games' reputations have taken opposite paths the past few years. Huh? FFVIII's popularity has been declining immensely recently from what I've seen, almost on a comparable level to MGS4. --- This was my signature, but Raytan, 2013 Guru champion, took it away. |

least half the time I hear about FFVIII it's very positive. Though
much of the rest of the time it's very negative. FFVIII's mixed
reception is one of the reasons I've taken years to finish FFVII - hard

"no one gives a darn about FFIX" sounds weird considering how much hype it gets (and not just on this board) though, and I wouldn't take a match against MGS4 to be indicative of much. People just have a stigma that MGS4 has to be strong because it did so well in BGE2 and still finished in the top 15 in the x-stats in GOTD. Get over it. And I'm a huge fan of that game, like it more than every MGS other than 3. But stop. Tranny literally said he has a hard time seeing MGS4 losing to The Last of Us. Kinda laughable. only reason I picked GTAV over Shenmue was because of the Dreamcast. I
don't know how many times GTA has to get destroyed to prove how dead it

SMG2 would not break 80% on Undertale. This is a pretty legit result from it today. And Undertale is easily the kind of game that would be more popular on GameFAQs than Life is Strange. It's in the Top 10 PC Games right now, even. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
