Isn't
it sad how virtually nothing from the past ten years would be in the
"all-time best 2D platformers" discussion? I feel like the genre has
actually seen a bit of a resurgence in the 2010s, but few of these newer
titles have felt as revelatory. I will say that I absolutely loved Kirby Mass Attack and consider it the best title in the franchise. You want to see the Nintendo charm that they "just don't make anymore"? There it is. --- JAK The Character Battle IX people's champ. |

Well, you can not count it if you want, it doesn't effect anything since it's the last in the timeline, and they'll never have a game after it. I wish they changed the name on releases too, but one thing I will say, it does make it so saying Zelda games is not TECHNICALLY incorrect, obviously it's really the Legend of Zelda games, but they themselves did call the second one Zelda II, so there is that. |

Against Smash 4? I imagine it'll put a good beat down on it. Honestly, modern FF has done pretty much what I expected it to thus far. FFVI really exceeded my expectations, but other than that, nothing too surprising from any of them. possible Last of Us is legit. I mean, Halo has probably dropped because
it's almost inextricably tied to the Xbox's popularity, and the Xbone

has had only one previous poll, but it did feature it getting more than
tripled by Assassin's Creed III. I'm not saying SSB4 will win, but that
match could shock some people. Journey may actually be the weakest game

Planescape is extremely popular on any PC site. It's not an unknown
among WRPG fans! Granted, GameFAQs isn't a PC site but it's not a
Journey site either. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

done so through console exposure! Journey hit consoles -- two of them!

just don't think Journey had any presense here on GameFAQs. I'll take
the old-school WRPG over the indie artsy experience game simply because
the former has 'RPG' in it somewhere. Really pointless either way though, doesn't change anything. On a better note, Undertale's holding up pretty well! Not looking jokey or anything. Yeah,
I would take Journey > Planescape in a heartbeat. I think the best
sign for FFVII though is that it looked VERY stable trend-wise
throughout the day. So it doesn't seem to be getting terribly anti-voted
anymore. |
