FF7's "decline" is partly related to the shifting demographics of the last few years. A trend which is reversing now. think the better question with X/Y is if its performance is tied to RBY
or GSC in any way. like, if XY does really well, does that even mean
anything? it seems like those later Pokemon games are a totally
different audience since most people fell out of love with Pokemon after

All the speculation regarding Pokemon X/Y makes me think of a Rick and Morty quote: "The answer is: don't think about it." Wind Waker isn't getting trounced, it's not going to be close, and it's not going to be any type of gauge concerning Red/Blue. Nothing reflects RB except RB itself.
