gonna guess people just haven't played Ratchet and Clank 3 or something

Probably still has mistakes in it since I was busy making my other brackets at 10:30 instead of making any last minute changes here. Alt bracket #1: http://i.imgur.com/a4zjuEb.png Meant to be an alternate version of my main bracket where Pokemon wins the highly debated match against SMW. It was supposed to be mostly the same otherwise, but I made it from memory so some of the other picks are different as well (time spent: ~5 minutes) Alt bracket #2: http://i.imgur.com/hMPEZWU.png A version where I picked the opposite side in several more debatable matches. Based on memory from the previous bracket that I just filled out. Looking
at the vote totals here, a difference of less than 400 votes currently
separates the highest voted and lowest voted matches today. Any
concerns that one or two matches will get significantly more votes than
the other matches appears to not be the case here. All of these matches should be on track to reach 10000 votes by the 6 hour mark. Based on my research into the overall vote distribution over the course of an entire day, our vote totals at 6:00 AM should represent about 31% of the final vote total. If
you vote for less than 4 matches, does something pop up when you click
the vote button to remind you? I saw that the text on the vote button
changes, but maybe some people don't read it and just click it out of
instinct since it's the big button directly beneath the pictures. I
think it's weird that some people would go out of their way to not vote

Persona
3 needs to improve its US vote in the morning if it's to have any
chance. Keep an eye on what happens in the eastern states after a few
hours to see if there might be a swing to it during the daylight hours.

3's strength right now is coming from South America and the major Asian
countries of the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. That support
from South America will help it out during the day and the support from

They both lose to CT on round 2 so that's only 1 point, fortunately. I'm more scared of CT showing more strength than it should. |
Yea
all 4 matches have pretty much the exact same vote totals, which is
surprising. It means almost everyone voted for all matches. Only DQ8/P3
has -1% vote. It could also be because its Day 1, but yea I thought

looking good. Persona being just a power hour game is disappointing but
makes sense. I'm glad to see DQ show some legitimacy though and it

totals for all 4 of these matches are higher than I had originally
expected. I believe the yellow site alert might have helped boost our
vote totals because thousands of people saw the site alert promoting the
bracket entry form, which made them aware that a contest was about to
start very soon. So it gave them a reason to check the site again even

I
didn't expect Arkham City to be losing to MegaMan X, that's the one
area I screwed up. My votes were on the money besides that one. I hope

I'm
not too worried about FFX, it's doing around expected. Of course you'll
have to give this round to Chrono Trigger, even if this is all R&C

this P3 match feels so unfair because it has such boring boxart. You
can't even see any characters or anything while DQ8 has everything
visible. They could've at least used the box of a foreign version or P3P
or something. |

If I have no familiarity with either game, I probably won't vote. I didn't vote in the MMX or DQ polls because I have no basis to pick anything. I have always believed that "respect" votes are a big factor though - votes where people vote for games they've never played, because they've heard good things about the game and so hold it in high regard. I think SotC for instance relied heavily on respect votes. Such votes will be even more of a factor now as people are heavily inclined to vote in all four polls. Who is Nick and what does he have to do with Chrono Trigger? Saw someone mention something about Chrono Trigger being overall #1 seed. Is that confirmed or just speculation? For some reason one of my first thoughts is that Half-Life 1 is apparently on San Andreas's level assuming a constant FFX. Half-Life vs. San Andreas who wins? Dragon Quest VIII was my gut pick at first, but I switched to P3 quickly. Apparently my initial gut feeling was right. Assuming
a constant Half-Life from 2009, FFX would be expected to get 58.06% on
FFIX (it got 63.07% in a direct match in 2010). If Kingdom Hearts hasn't
