Krystal has said the popular characters won't be allowed into the field, so no Clinkerothio concerns. So who's the most popular casual bait who is legitimately a bad character? Those
two being iconic makes me think they won't be allowed. Lightning might
get in because she's not popular outside of Japan, and most of our votes

is very disappointing. I don't really care about the 'worst characters
ever' and who 'wins' that. I mean how can Allen think this is a good

contest such as this would cause voting trends to be completely
reversed compared to a normal contest. The most hated character would
have the strongest board vote, instead of having the weakest board vote

Well... it's a site-wide main page Contest in the 1v1 format. That much is certainly promising. Bit of a shame about everything else, but hopefully this leads to good things in the future! My, how times have changed. CJayC wouldn't have allowed this kind of contest in a million years. I wonder how the polls are going to work? I mean, are we supposed to vote for the character we like more or the one we like less? I would imagine we just vote for the one we like better, and then the loser moves on? It's weird to think about. was confirmed that the character who gets the most votes will move onto
the next round. Basically, you have to vote for the character you like

Who in their right mind thinks a worst character contest is remotely a
good or entertaining idea? For a person who's entire job is 'community
manager', you have to be a pretty lazy hack to try and pass this idea
off as a legit contest. Is it really so hard to find competent people to run these contests? --- Game of the decade? More like Guru of the decade mirite? However, the Guru of the next decade so far is SuperNiceDog |

Yup full sized Game Contest with no division by eras will be happening later this year or early in 2016, rejoice! For now though SB says he isn't 100% sold on Worst Character and would be willing to run a different kind of small Contest if we can think of anything better. It just needs to be something new (not best games/series/characters/systems) and relatively drama-free. So far all I can come up with is Someone had suggested that idea a while back (maybe during the 2013 contest) and I posted a comment stating that it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to do match pics for a Video Game Music Battle. I believe I also stated that you can't use the match pic spot on the poll to embed a small sample of video game music from both entrants in a match. have Youtube links for Best Video Game Music. Hell, put them on a
dedicated channel if you're worried about them being deleted. would love a video game music contest myself. Or, maybe not... great
game tracks from obscure games would lose to things like One Winged
Angel or SMB Overworld guaranteed. Maybe it would still be okay
overall, though. The ultimate winner would be.... Gerudo Valley, maybe?
It's hard to imagine no legal issues, even if links to Youtube were provided. I imagine every single company with a connection to the contest would have to be contacted for approval, which sounds like major headache for the admins. --- "Ah, a party!
