This is the best example of SFF we've ever seen. However take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make perfect sense. Extrapolated Standings - The mathematical "strength" of a contestant that's determined based on their performance relative to the rest of the field. This number is typically based on the contest entrant's loss, but adjustments are sometimes made. are all these votes even coming from? Snake has a MASSIVE lead in North
America, the UK and Russia, plus most of South America, India, Japan... How the hell is he still in the lead when the countries that make out 90% of GameFAQs' traffic all vote for Snake? |

This
is the problem with Draven's run. This could have easily been a good
thing for the contests: helping our anemic vote totals, representing the
current generation of gaming, getting more people talking. But the
guy's high-profile matches just have no legitimacy to them whatsoever. In Link/Draven, he got the biggest "coincidence" of his goddamn life when the site went down for 90 minutes of Link's best timeframe. Especially since - in another wacky coincidence - /r/leagueoflegends was able to build steam for a newer Draven rally to replace the old one during that downtime. Now it's Draven/Snake, and we have a mod of the subreddit flagrantly ignoring the sub's own repost rule by stickying a thread that is, for all intents and purposes, a repost. All because of a kneejerk reaction to murmurs of a conspiracy theory. A theory that homsar just outed as hogwash. All of this satisfies the Buttmad Brigade and nobody else. I mean, who else wants to see the final match turn into a boring blowout built up through illegitimate means? I think even many of the Draven fans would have rather seen a fun, heated wire-to-wire match between titans instead. This match was a blast for the first half though. Good looking out y'all. Waiting for Karma Hunter reaction I really feel bad for him,really Like,his favorite character ever got his most hated character holding him down,he tried to do anything to give Snake victory and he disappeared when things started to look good for Snake If he wakes up to this...then..I don't know what is going to be his reaction |

Actually it was ruined the moment he instigated separate page voting for the sole purpose of it fitting within Reddit promotional posts, he so much as went to that site before the contest to try and sell it to them. What happened here is a victory for exposing that, best case scenario from this contest is exactly this happening. Now everyone is disgusted enough for it to not be allowed happen again as opposed to tolerating all this for it to be repeated. |

KH will be happy with this overall. Snake proved that he actually could do it. making steady cuts, getting tons of support across the net, and making it very realistic that he could win it. then the lol mods took it into their own hands and stickied it instead of letting the rallies happen naturally. so Snake proved himself, lol proved itself, Samus is gonna look like gutter trash - it's the 2nd best outcome for him really. --- "Maybe it's a tentacle, molesting the planet itself. - Aschen Brodel. |
