And regardless of who wins, doesn't this match confirm that Snake had a pretty good chance after all of beating Link? Especially considering that the rallies by our users would be more targeted at Snake fans.

Samus muddles the picture though. She would have folded pretty hard to Link. Maybe not this hard but enough to swing Nintendo votes for Link en masse

Yeah I think short of Allen f***ing up again, this match was awesome whatever happens. It was always going to be a "nothing to lose" situation for Snake supporters, so any entertainment we derive from it is a win in itself. And the participation of Hale, Hayter, Hideo, and Trent have certainly provided that entertainment.

It's pretty hard to say. This was rallied Link and this is rallied Snake, so they aren't the ones you would have had in a final. Also this Draven is probably weaker than the one against Link due to his rally topic being burrowed by World Championship threads.

Well, I doubt we get such a concentrated rally for Snake if it's Link here instead of Draven. People would still try, but it wouldn't be so focused on getting everyone to vote for Snake. It would also probably backfire worse since Link is probably the hardest character to rally against.
