Dammit
Mega Man... from 3rd to 41, the dream is over. Had Charizard over Megs
the first time, then inexplicably changed from Samus winning to Mega
Man... bad move. Could've just left it blank and stayed in the top 20
at least. Course, I guess that makes little sense... woulda been in
second had I left it :( Course, it's probably for the best, since I made my bracket a karma entry for some unknown reason. --- Can I please have the old Gamefaqs back... my account is too old for changes now. |

Because
Samus already technically won a contest once, and Nintendo and Square
entries have won plenty in the long run at this point. At least Draven

Samus has never won a contest that actually included Mario and Link!
That'd be pretty huge if she won the contest after everything that's

Snake or Samus legitimately beat Draven and the Draven ralliers fair
and square, yeah, that would be impressive, but still, I'd rather see
Snake win then Samus, even if she win a contest without Mario or Link in

The way I see it,Draven/Link can go- 1.They consider us the biggest losers in the Internet and look at this poll as "losers don't want to admint they lost" And doesn't make any rally thread,letting Link win with 80% and a very very unsatisfactory victory 2.Like the above,but they will rally,and the redditors that voted for Link before now vote for Draven because we are considered losers...making a very easy victory for Draven (and this will be the excuse for most Link supporters here) 3.They will rally. Link will win. They say they don't really care because it's a bonus match and Draven is the champion anyway We will agree and feel this is very unsatisfactory victory ...I really can't see myself enjoying this match,no matter what happens |

the only way I can enjoy this match is if we find a way to laugh at
them but tbh right now they have more reasons to laugh at us..sadly They can totally use the excuse of "we already rallied hard for Draven against Snake and it's hard to rally for 48 hours" I will totally agree with them Oh well,just let this contest end already |
Draven/Link
will be enjoyable as long as it has comparable votals to
Link/Shep/Draven (meaning they are rallying just as much) and Link still
wins. It will also be enjoyable if the site goes down again while Link
is doing good. There will no longer be any debate about whether it was a
ddos or not if that happens. Really I think the only ways it won't be
enjoyable are if the rally is bigger than usual due to that tournament
or w/e is going on and Draven just crushes with R2 level strength or if
they just don't rally at all. I don't think either of those will happen though. The tournament being on hurts him just as much as it helps him. There will be more people on the reddit but the tournament will also be the focus of the discussion. I doubt a rally topic gets anywhere near the top of the reddit when there are all the tournament result topics going on. There is also no way they won't rally at all. They showed how much they cared when they kept spamming rally topics for 2 hours straight while they just kept getting deleted. I dunno A tournament being on also mean twitch rally can be a painful,painful thing I don't know how it works because from what I remember popular streams are full of comments that nobody reads because they move too fast..but it can be painful Anyway,I finally finished reading the last 2 stat topics and....why are the same people that talked about Pokemon fanbase being the most dronish ever also talk about if Pikachu+Squirtle is weaker than Pikachu+Mewtwo? I don't understand this joke Unlike Zelda,Pokemon doesn't have a clear "main character" that most of the fanbase votes should go to Pikachu is as close as possible to "main character" because he is the mascot,but he is far from most liked Why is it so surprising that the most popular Pokemon also share the same strength? I also don't think there is going to be much of a difference between all of FFVI characters (aside from Kefka) for the same reason Terra,Locke and Celes should be around the same strength in this contest |

They
posted that topic way too early. In fact, they posted the rally topic
for the Link match about 3 1/2 hours before the match started, so the
rally was losing steam much sooner than usual, forcing them to get
really desperate to hold off Link's comeback. Considering the fact most of Draven votes came from Europe,the west server being down can be "Half Ultimate Draven" Of course they are only down for 3 hours (which was what Riot estimated to be the downtime) so it should comeback anytime But if for act of god (like this site server dying for 90 minutes in LSD) they encounter some..problems..and the servers will be down for a few more hours then..uh oh... |

setting up this bonus match because he clearly defined the rules for
this bonus match before the contest even started. And because of all
