Sephiroth vs Squirtle vs Red probably would be the more interesting match, especially since Blue didn't drag Pikachu down too hard. Squirtle could win. I guess Mewtwo vs Pikachu could be vaguely interesting --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

wow I'm back up to 12th on the leaderboard. I'm going to fall off after
the next two matches, of course, but I'm amazed I'm that high given

It's
stupid. Link fans disgraced themselves by DDOSing the site and SBAllen
bends over for them. It's not like putting a pacifier in an infant's
mouth, it's like rewarding a gang of unruly children for bullying and

Samus
maintaining that lead, good stuff. This is an impressive performance
for her, I think. MM probably isn't as good as expected, which makes
some sense considering Charizard, but this is a top non-Link tier show.
Samus/Sanke would be a great match if Draven weren't around to ruin it.

With
how impressive Mega Man has looked, I wouldn't be surprised if Samus is
the #3 on the site behind Link and Snake. Though how much of that is

Man it's kinda upsetting that the only thing exciting about the final match is the battle for 2nd place. That's
consistent with Mega Man's cuts. Won't make a difference in the match,
obviously, but it should make the match more appropriate to what MM's

Man
this match looks Vivi look amazing. He'd have easily beaten Red without
f***ing Squall in the match. He actually wouldn't be that far from Mega
Man! I guess this confirms that the rallying factor for Vivi vs. Mario was overrated. He wouldn't have won without rallies, but that would have been a tight match anyway. Man... probably ends up at 47% if he's lucky? I don't think the Red
votes split significantly one way or the other given that it's
'Pokeymanz', so that would definitely indicate a stronger Mega Man than
in past years as long as Samus is roughly constant. Disappointing from a certain standpoint but, just like Snake pre-2k6, he would have killed to be worth 47% on Samus in our last contest alone. --- Welcome to the League of Downtime. |

also now has a distinction of leading Samus for at least an hour, which
can only really be extended - times she was being SFFed aside -
post-Metroid Prime to... Link, Cloud, Mario, and Tifa (...one of these
things is not like the others). Even Snake's not guaranteed to do that,

I
think Red does hurt Samus more, but not to any significant degree, but
still probably a bit more than 50/50 between Samus and MM. Pokemon is
mostly independent, but it still does have its ties in Nintendo. Not bad
from MM, though, certainly the best he's been in some time. Unlike the
rest of the NN, minus Snake, Samus hasn't lost a step, so getting 45%+
on her is pretty good. Makes Tifa look really good, too, which is weird! --- tune in tokyo 142.94 |
