problem is that this place will be full of our favorite guests so any
kind of linking to whatever rally we put up will be downvoted to
oblivion ....If you guys have some kind of..external messaging service..like AIM or something (or even this site PM's) I think it would be a better idea at the start |

One last observation before I head off... as of right now, heading into Mega Man's worst time of the match - by far
- Samus is currently 76 votes ahead of Charizard's pace. I'm wary of
MM's chances because the deep night is liable to be much worse to him
than it was in his last match; Samus has a significantly better night
vote than Pokemon. However, her day vote is historically not as good as Pokemon's, so while MM will probably have a bigger hole to dig himself out of he also has a higher potential. Not falling apart overnight will be key - something like 700-800 is probably his absolute maximum, even if he rallies every ounce the way he did last match. --- Welcome to the League of Downtime. |

I don't think it's fair to blame Kanz for things he didn't do... The "double agent" incident was ugly,and he deserves some tomatoes being throwen at him for that This "dobule agent" thing is ugly too,but this time it's not Kanz...I don't think this "RavenHusky" is a user from this board Which makes it more sad,because they lurk here even when there isn't a Draven match I mean,I didn't even read one comment out of the 3000+ combined posts of the rally topics,why do they lurk here..? |
As for the wiki page The one who created it is "Red Shifter" that we believe is the person that made all the "Kazbar" accounts on reddit I don't know who he is but he enjoys creating chaos or something |

With
the level of advantage Samus is displaying now, I'm dubious if Megaman
will even mount a comeback. I think he'll just stop her from increasing
her lead and just end up stalling her until the end of the match.
Doesn't help that Megaman doesn't even have a full percent advantage in

You know how the accusations flew of 'bribery' back in Round 3 because one user was running a raffle to get people to vote for Draven? Or how, back in Round 2, I went down the list of top comments pointing out the offensive and mocking ones and it turned out it was something like 10% or less? Same thing here. People see what they want to see. is really ripping into MM now. And has been since the half hour mark.
Perhaps MM's early vote was unnaturally strong because of the bandwagon
effect. Okay, projection time! Based on Samus/Megaman 2007 R4, Samus wins with 52.66%. Based on Samus/Megaman 2007 R3, Samus wins with 53.67%. Yeah, that looks pretty bad for MM. Even going with the lower projection, that's 1800 net votes he needs to rally. --- 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2010, 2011 10 championships is not enough. ZeldaFAQs thirsts for more. |
I put it in quotating marks because what real
bribery looks like is Riot Games offering a free rune page to whoever
votes for LoL as game of the year in the joystiq awards. That's bribery
in massive polls. When you get to a scale where your personal circle has
a statistically irrelevant effect (like a 100k vote character battle,
or an election), it's no longer considered a bribe, for real. I'd have
to find the specific political sciences term but this is actually A
Thing, honest. As for the second point, you know why? Because it's just pointless and leads to forum drama. People always accentuate the negative. Why? Because it's fun! It's cathartic to ****-talk, it generates drama, and arguing is an alright way to spend the time. We're human beings, it's something we just do. Look at all the joy people derive from trying to pin things on me! It's harmess when one side realizes it's just harmless ribbing or accepts it tolerantly, but when neither party realizes that someone else might get offended, things get ugly fast. So, don't be offended. Take the high ground and hold it, and try to see the positive things of the other side (of which there are always many). This is a pretty impressive performance for Samus, I think. Also, personal Noble Nine rankings: Snake > Cloud > Sonic >> Mega Man > Sephiroth > Crono > Mario > Samus > Link I don't dislike any of them, but I don't really care about anyone below Sephy.
