If so many of you can say that Shadow of the Colossus is a bad game, I can say that Other M is amazing right? MM
has very well rounded trends, as does Samus. But MM will have 4 hours
of terrible pain from 4am to 8 am. Samus should be a little better at
the morning too. Past 1 pm, MM will do progressively better until the
end of the poll. --- 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2010, 2011 10 championships is not enough. ZeldaFAQs thirsts for more. |

Delseban posted... I've never actually played Other M, other than for about an hour. I just saw that Ridley cutscene tonight for the first time. And yes, its super super offensive to anyone who likes Samus. Not to mention the dialogue is laughably bad. Oh well. ...I didn't think Other M's writing was offensively bad, though that being said it has a worse script than any MGS game and that's pretty darn bad (as great as those games' storylines are, I'll be the first to admit that their scripts goof off rather often). Not worth defending. The Ridley cutscene...I had no problem with it whatsoever. I guess I too was shocked at the thought of having to fight a resurrected Ridley (WHY WON'T YOU FREAKING DIE???) who was more ferocious and aggressive than ever. Probably helped that the subsequent boss battle was my favorite in the series and quite possibly in all of gaming. Or perhaps Ridley getting resurrected again made me think of Liquid Snake (WHY WON'T YOU FREAKING DIE???) and I remembered that Snake had a PTSD over Liquid in Metal Gear Solid 2. Heck, I heard that Chris Redfield has a PTSD over Wesker in Resident Evil 6. I don't see why it's inexcusable for Samus. Don't accuse Other M of being sexist when you guys are clearly being sexist towards Samus, for saying she's not allowed to exhibit a personality facet that male video game characters are clearly allowed to exhibit. Maybe I'm just good at liking "hated" sequels. Metal Gear Solid 4, Wind Waker, and Brawl are my favorite games in their respective series. I like Super Mario Sunshine every bit as much as other Mario games. I tried to hate Twilight Princess and failed miserably. --- I just beat Metroid: Other M, and while I loved the game it turned out to be completely not worth thinking over it for years. |

I don't care. If you guys say that Shadow of the Colossus sucks, I
have every right to like Other M so much. It's basically the same
thing. And I'm not alone. I see the game pop up with alarming frequency when people discuss "games I like that everyone hates" and "underrated games". --- I just beat Metroid: Other M, and while I loved the game it turned out to be completely not worth thinking over it for years. |
I just now seen all the match pics ....maybe this time we need a poll about "worst match pic this round" instead of "best" It might be deleted because it hurts the feeling of the "artists" but im sorry they really didn't put their effort into it Only FAHtastic,kaonashi1 and UltimaterializerX pictures are worth something And it's obvious that Zen and Video submitted bad pictures on puropose...they are the best artists in this contest so far |

Before the contest started, we were expecting Sephiroth/Cloud/Samus or Sephiroth/Snake/Samus in the bonus match. But when Draven happened and Vivi killed Mario, it had a huge effect on this bonus match.
